Stackvenn reads across religion, philosophy, history, science, society, work and life, because the old questions and the new ones are often the same question.

Which idea should we read next?Write in and tell us.
Who is Srihari?
Srihari is not one thing. He reads scriptures and research papers with the same curiosity, and writes about where they meet. Depending on the day, he is a different kind of reader.
Meet Srihari
I'm Srihari Venkatesan. I read widely, across scriptures, history, philosophy and science, and I write to understand how those ideas meet the way we work and live today. Stackvenn is where I publish that thinking.
Lives we imagined
The same curiosity, placed in other eras. None of these happened; all of them could have.

The writerEvery idea starts on paper. Pen, notebook and an oil lamp, before any screen.

The restless mindOne question leads to the next subject, then the next. That is the whole method.

The listenerOld stories are best heard first-hand, under a tree, from someone who lived them.

The seekerQuiet questions, asked in old places, often answer the new ones.

“Most writing picks one shelf.”
“Stackvenn reads across all of them.”
“The old questions and the new ones are often the same question.”
“Ideas from scripture to silicon.”
“Every piece, read in full, here.”
“One idea worth thinking about, every Friday.”
Read the long way
Stackvenn is for reading slowly: one idea at a time, followed from its oldest source to its newest question.
From scripture to silicon

Why read Stackvenn?
Because scripture and science are rarely read together. Here they share a page, and the reader decides which idea to follow.
